MBK - Fifth Avenue

Let this page be a warning to anyone looking to do business at MBK. We were approached/invited by MBK Entertainment to open a kitchen in The Fifth on the 5th Floor of MBK. Never, in our meetings, did they mention their intention to shrink the size of the food court or make changes that would permanantly change the traffic flow around the booths. After signing a contract and paying deposits, it was only when we were moving our equipment in did we discover that what had been seating and access to the bathrooms, next to the space we were taking, had been closed off for the construction of a Medical Spa. We persisted for 5 months until it became obvious the renovations and change in traffic flow made it impossible to generate suitable income and that MBK Entertainment were unwilling to take any financial responsibility or drop revenue sharing and monthly minimums to a viable level for us to continue.
