One of the best places for sketching is the irresistible Charles Bridge in Czech. With the enthusiasm of jazz musicians, sketch artists, ornament sellers, and tourists, the scenery is fuller than life.
Spanning 500 meters, the Charles Bridge in Czech connects Castle Hill and the Old Town. Sketching and other forms of arts can be done here because of the stunning views of the city and the goddess-like beauty of the river called Vltava.
The bridge is brilliantly decorated with blackened baroque saints, each guarded by lions, angels, and followers. These statues are a living testimony of how the 15th century looked like before the replacement of the older Judith Bridge. An interesting note: Good luck is said to be given to anyone who touches the statue of St. John of Nepomuk.
